a. Are you a Student?

If you and/or your partner are a student, you can prove this with a recent proof of registration for full-time study at a higher education institution.

In that case, you do not have to demonstrate or declare any income.

  • If there is other income in addition to your student grant, these must be stated.

b. Are you self-employed and the tax authorities cannot issue you an income statement or final assessment?

  • Submit a profit and loss account for the previous year prepared by an independent accountant. This must contain the net profit and the tax deductions, from which your taxable income follows.
  • If the income statement is not available, you can ask your accountant to prepare an independent forecast for the current year.
  • This forecast must also contain the net profit and the tax deductions, from which your expected taxable income follows.
  • Both documents must also (if applicable) contain an explanation on the basis of which the income differs from previous years.
  • Do you receive other income in addition to your income from the company? In that case, you must submit separate supporting documents.
